Schedule

6:00 p.m. – Screening of the Florida Wildlife Corridor’s The Forgotten Coast: Return to Wild Florida.

Following in the footsteps of a wandering Florida black bear, three friends leave civilization and become immersed in a vast and unexplored wildlife corridor stretching from the Everglades to the Florida-Alabama border. The rugged thousand-mile journey by foot, paddle, and bike traverses Florida’s Forgotten Coast – a wilderness that has the potential to transform the way we see the natural world.

7:30 p.m. – Presenting In Marjorie’s Wake, a film by Equinox Documentaries, Inc.

In Marjorie’s Wake examines the many ways in which the St. Johns River of Florida has shaped culture — literature, art and music — over time. It does so by re-creating a historic trip that Pulitzer-prize winning author Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings once made on the river in 1933.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

There will also be a book-signing by Bill Belleville.
